About

I’m Uday Singh. I’ve been putting language models in products since 2017. At Epigrammar, a topic model hand-rolled in NumPy clustered teachers’ grading feedback; an early GPT-2 deployment replaced it. At Epihub I built a GPT-3 booking assistant within weeks of the API’s July 2020 beta, and that assistant spun out as Salesform (YC S20), one of the first autonomous agent products: an inbound SDR that qualified, routed, and booked thousands of meetings on GPT-3 in production from September 2021, eighteen months before GPT-4 and well before function-calling APIs. In 2024 I built Odder, a real-time odds engine in Elixir that turned fifteen thousand odds a second into fair probabilities and Kelly-sized edges.

Since 2026 I work on mechanistic interpretability full time: ARENA, a GPT built from scratch, technique replications, and Tells, which tests whether deception probes fire on bluffs. I also play poker, which is where the series gets its laboratory.
